Specifications for Final Project
Final Project Overview
Your final project will be a Flash portfolio website for yourself.
Specifications
The site must include:
- Images of at least five of your best design pieces
- At least five Flash "pages", including a home page, all linked together through button navigation (every page is linked to every other page)
- Two or more animated elements in appropriate places
- Clear site identity on every page
- Consistent and well-structured layout
- Consistent color scheme
- High degree of usability
- No "splash screen" unless it is accompanied by full navigation
- Embed all of your fonts
- Submission: Save your FLA file as XFL, and ZIP up the entire folder that is created
Skills Required
Students who completed all of the work in this course learned the following skills which are required to build this site:
- Creating buttons
- Creating animations
- Site navigation with ActionScript
- Web interface design and usability
- Good typography
- Loading external files
